ABOUT ME

My name is Tomás Fernández Valdés. I am a music composer and sound designer based in Argentina, dedicated to the composition, production, design, Implementation, recording, mixing, and mastering of music and sound for video games.

Graduated from the National University of Córdoba (Argentina) with a degree in Music Composition, my education began with guitar studies learning to interpret and compose songs of rock, blues, jazz, Argentinian folk, ethnic music, among other genres.

I was a composer, singer, and guitarist in rock and blues bands like Morgan Blues Band, sharing the stage with national blues leaders such as Mississippi Blues Band and Pol Castillo.

In six years of my university career, I acquired tools for soundtrack composition, audio production, orchestral writing, sound design, experimentation, and a wide range of knowledge necessary to develop an eclectic style, as well as learning piano, and composition techniques for audiovisual media. As a result, I composed the music and designed the sound for the work ESQUECIMENTO (for string quartet, guitar, electronics, and video), as well as composing music and doing sound design for the video games Azimuth, Labscape, Book of Soulz, among others.
